How Are DAXXIFY Injections Performed?
At your comprehensive consultation at Premier Surgical Arts, either Dr. Demaree or a trained staff member will assess whether DAXXIFY aligns with your aesthetic objectives and medical history. DAXXIFY injections are performed in-house and can be conducted right after your consultation. After confirming that you are a viable candidate, you might be asked to make a range of facial expressions involving your upper face to aid in determining the optimal injection points.
To initiate the treatment, we first sanitize the skin, identify the injection areas, and then use a thin needle to perform the injection. The standard DAXXIFY dosage typically comprises five shots, each containing eight units, although your specific treatment quantity might differ slightly. We apply a cold compress immediately following the procedure to mitigate any potential discomfort or sensitivity. The treatment usually takes about 10 – 15 minutes, after which you can return to your regular daily activities.
