When you have lost a significant amount of

prepare for your after weight loss surgery and what might be part of
your surgical plan. Before scheduling after weight loss surgery, you
should be at or near a stable weight.
Health insurance, for the most part, will not
usually pay for the costs of elective surgery. However, policies do vary
and weight loss patients may be covered where excess skin is deemed a
medical concern. If you would like to use your insurance company, please
let Dr. Demaree know during your consultation. He will help you get the
necessary information and paperwork to submit to your insurance company.
Typical areas that are addressed during after
weight loss surgery are the stomach, butt, upper thighs, breasts, neck,
and arms. For your initial consultation, Dr. Demaree will listen to your
concerns and goals before performing a physical examination. When this
is done, he can give you his recommendations for what should be part of
your surgery.
