A Missouri native, Dr. Dax Demaree is triple board certified in cosmetic surgery through the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, and in general surgery by the American College of Osteopathic Surgery. Dr. Demaree prioritizes patient safety and strives to deliver superb results. He believes in educating his patients about their pre-operative and post-operative journeys and setting realistic expectations. Dr. Demaree also is passionate about training the next generation of surgeons; he volunteers in administering the general surgery oral boards to potential candidates through the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons.
Dr. Demaree graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR, where he received his Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry in 2010. He earned his doctoral medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience in Kansas City, MO in 2015. After completing medical school, he finished his post-doctoral residency training in general surgery at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO in 2020. He served as chief resident during the last year of his training.
Before moving to Eau Claire, WI, Dr. Demaree completed additional training in cosmetic surgery through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery with nationally renowned cosmetic surgeons Drs. Chad Deal, Michael Kluska, and Vincent Gardner at Southern Surgical Arts in Chattanooga, TN. During his fellowship, Dr. Demaree participated in more than 1,300 cosmetic surgical procedures using the most cutting-edge technology and advanced surgical techniques.
Memberships
Dr. Demaree has been married to his wife Elizabeth since 2018. They have two children, two dogs, and four cats. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring northern Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota. Dr. Demaree is an avid gardener, home cook, and outdoorsman.

Premier Surgical Arts is a new cosmetic surgery practice in Altoona, but Amber has been doing injections for about 10 years. She did a wonderful job with my Daxxify injections. I am quite happy with the results and will definitely be back!
Dr. Demaree was a great surgeon! I went to my consultation nervous. Him and his staff made the entire experience comfortable and they all are very knowledgeable and answer all questions you have. After my surgery his staff contacted me to make sure I was doing good. They followed up multiple days after as well. I can tell they truly do care about their patients.
